Unique
effects from this photographic process are enhanced
by the use of a variety of unusual materials.
Ethereal images emerge from forms printed on
silk while translucent images appear to float
on sheets of glass. The addition of gold leaf
to this process is an innovation developed by
the artist to capture the shimmering light experienced
in her Viaggio Spirituale (Spiritual Journey).
